Over 250 Audits Conducted in the Last Year: USAC Report

USAC Audits help track Program Efficiency

On March 31st USAC submitted their Semi-Annual Audit Report to the FCC for their review. Based on the FCC's Schools and Libraries Fifth Order, the report must summarize the status of all outstanding audit reports.

The report shows as of February 28, 2010:

964 audits have been conducted, up 269 since February 2009
The amount recovered is $20,667.822; up $4 million since February 2009
The reported balance remaining to be recovered is $59,065,512; down $50 million since February 2009
